Luke Brookes

Luke Brookes is a freelance illustrator currently living and working in a small village just outside of Birmingham, UK. He started freelancing about 10 months ago after graduating from Staffordshire University. Since then he has worked with some really cool people and is loving every minute of it!

His work is very narrative driven. He can't help creating little stories in his head about the scenes or characters he creates. He likes to include as much depth in his work as he can, so when you come back and look at it you discover a new element.

A lot of his work depicts scenes of nature and the beauty of a landscape. He uses layered shapes and colours to create vast worlds and scenes ranging from a snowy wilderness to fantasy wonderlands that always engage the viewer. Stunning!
